Available Options
Plant in rich, humusy soil and keep moist but not soggy. Trim spent blooms to keep tidy, if you like. (Stems are thin, and blooms are petite, so it may not be necessary.) No special feeding requirements, but keep in the shade it likes best.
Call in the Fire Chief! This Heuchera is red-hot in color, with wine and scarlet scalloped foliage that keeps its color all summer. A semi-evergreen plant, it is further decorated from the start of summer to mid-summer with dainty bell-shaped flowers. Flowers combine pink and white and appear on thin stems, adding just the right old-fashioned touch to the shade garden.
