Winter Greenhouse plants are shipped from mid March through end of November to the entire United States, but not out of the country for the time being. A selection of plants is also shipped during the winter months if necessary together with a heat pack and special insulation to ensure a safe transit. Our other shop items are shipped 12 months a year internationally.
There will be 5.5% sales tax added only to those orders shipping to Wisconsin (WI) in the US. For international orders you are responsible for any country-specific import duties or taxes that may apply.
Standard orders will be shipped via US Postal Service (USPS) or Federal Express (FedEx). Plants are shipped expedited to be in transit for max. 3 business days to avoid loss of quality.
Normally you can expect your order to be processed in one or at most two business days. An estimate for the time in transit is provided when selecting the shipping method.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an invoice receipt by e-mail. When your order has been shipped, you will receive another e-mail with a link to tracking information. If in spite of our inventory management we run out of stock for one of your items, we will refund you for it.
Your shipping rates are determined according to the type of service (Standard, Expedited or Two-Day), weight and volume of the parcel. We do not charge for packaging or handling. On the shopping cart page an estimate can be requested upon providing destination country and zip code. There is free standard shipping within the US for orders of at least $150.00.
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit cards, by PayPal or by personal check/money order. In case of personal check your shipment will be delayed until your check clears.

We offer an Online Customer Loyalty Discount which will automatically be applied to your current order if you spent a certain amount during the preceding year:
At Winter Greenhouse your complete satisfaction is our first and foremost aim. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order or your shopping experience with us, simply contact us and we will either refund you or replace the item in question as soon as we possibly can.
You can return an item within 60 days of receipt.
Before returning please contact us informing us of the items you wish to return and stating the reason for your return. If there's a mistake on our end we will at our discretion either send replacement free of charge, or provide a prepaid return label for a full refund upon receipt of the item in original condition, or a full refund without requesting the item back. Otherwise you are responsible for return shipping costs, in which case please make sure your shipment can be tracked.
When returning an item, please wrap it well, we cannot refund if it broke during transit. When returning a plant, water it well. Include a copy of the invoice or at least the order number so we can credit you correctly.
A refund will be provided within one business day of receipt of a returned item in original condition according to your original payment method. Original shipping costs will only be refunded if there was a mistake on our end.
