Position in well-draining soil--maybe even in a rock garden. This plant can tolerate some periods of drought. Nevertheless, being in light shade for part of the day will help it to thrive. Deadhead and cut back following bloom-time to encourage a second flush of flowers.

Description:

This mounding plant has old-fashioned charm with its pink, ‘scissor-cut’ edges. Its fragrance attracts garden admirers. Bees and butterflies are also drawn in. With a cloud of blue-gray foliage as its base, this hardy perennial looks great all season—and especially when its pink blooms show their faces.
