This humidity-loving houseplant needs bright, indirect light to maintain well-defined markings and good coloration. This plant can be grown without soil, in water only, as long as the water is not highly chlorinated. But if it is growing in a container filled with good potting mix, let its top layer of soil dry out between waterings. Feed regularly with liquid fertilizer. Keep away from pets, as it is not safe for them to sample this plant. Trim the vines to encourage fuller growth if they begin to get too long.
