This plant likes sunshine and warmth and is fairly drought resistant. It has medium watering needs and is low maintenance. Plant in sandy, well-draining soil. 'Nana' is deer resistant, and due to small thorns, it is unlikely to be on the "menu" of other garden nibblers.
