Pothos plants really do sustain themselves, requiring almost no care. Pothos can handle low-light conditions and articificial light of all sorts, so it is perfect for desktops and dimly lit shelves. Pothos rarely needs fertilizer. Water when dry, and feel free to clip off stems for propagating in water only (no soil needed). If trailing stems get too lengthy, and if leaves look sparsely positioned on them, trim with abandon. This will encourage new growth.
