This unusual South African Begonia grows well under dry conditions, which makes it a perfect plant for growing indoors. It forms a very unusual swollen trunk base and grows small, sharply pointed leaves. The white flowers form freely during the summer months. This can be grown in full to partial sun. Works very well as a bonsai tree, in a miniature garden and in fairy gardens in general. Allow soil to dry between waterings, and take care not to overwater. The plant you receive is a young plant which will form a caudex within 4- 6 months.
