Wear gloves when handling, due to the toxicity of the plant parts. This plant has average watering needs and, like most, does not like wet roots. Deer and rabbits will not bother Foxglove.

For back borders and scattered plantings in cottage gardens, Foxgloves are charmers. This large creamy yellow variety looks like buttery sunshine, with big bell-shaped blooms on tall and strong stems. The stems are tough and fibrous, hard to break down and bend, and this means they're sturdy enough to handle summer rains and more. (Just remember, when you handle the plant, wear gloves.)
