This plant has feathery creamy-white flower spires on fern-like green foliage; foliage is glossy and turns yellow-orange in autumn. The spires point up and outward... yes, like little inverted goats' beards. These flowers look delicate, with lots of light and air able to pass through them. But they are actually the flowers of a tough, resilient plant. You'll use Goat's Beard in borders, in rock gardens, and as garden focal points with lots of visual interest by way of pretty blooms.
