This textural foliage plant is quick to spread and spill, and so it is ideal for covering ground or spilling from containers. Plant in well-draining soil and do not allow its roots to get soggy. Water regularly but only once top layers of soil dry out. Do not fertilize.

This plant is fun to use in containers, and lucky all around. Leaves are green, with each leaf having a jagged and fairly wide red stripe along its central crease. Growing low but able to spill from plant pots and window boxes, you'll love the look of the petite foliage. You may also choose to use it in a rock garden or in a spot where you need an interesting ground cover. A spreader, it will cover ground with no issue.
