Begonia ningmingensis 'Bella' does best in high humidity... above 60% humidity is ideal. While it can be grown in open greenhouses, a terrarium or light garden is best for keeping this collector's plant looking great. Feed every two weeks from early spring through summer with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer. Although you'll want to keep your plant consistently moist, never allow its growing medium to get soggy. Position it in dappled light or partial shade.

This desirable begonia's oval leaves appear in dark tones, olive-green to black. Prominent silver-blue veining on the 'Bella' variety is a nice contrast to the dark base colors, and tiny hairs on the foliage glisten in the light.
