This sedum is deer resistant and has good drought tolerance. It can do well in soils that other plants find challenging, preferring gravelly soil for good drainage. Avoid allowing its roots to sit in water. You may choose to use it in containers, rock gardens, edges of walkways.... This is a very water-wise option once established, and you'll love the color show it puts on throughout three-to-four seasons. Go easy on the fertilizing, and don't worry about trimming: This plant stays healthy and tidy with little human intervention.
