This Ornamental Strawberry likes rich alkaline soil. It can be mulched around the roots. Use it in the garden or as a container planting which will grow upright, "fill" a container, and then "spill", draping down with flowers and fruit continuously from the start to the end of summer. With this plant, you do not need companion Strawberries to promote fruiting: One plant will do it.
