Coral Bells look dainty and delicate, but these plants are in fact strong as can be. This particular Coral Bells plant has been bred to tolerate heat and humidity. Its rounded foliage starts out in peachy tones in spring, gets rosier during summer, and turns to a purple-rose in autumn. All these tones are slightly muted by a silvery gray sheen, giving the foliage more of a dreamy look than a bold and fiery appearance. This look is perfect for the shaded areas it loves best. Foliage stays attractively mounded. In June and July, flower spires hold up the prettiest bell-shaped cream flowers. "Lovely" seems the best word to describe this perennial plant.
