Water once the soil begins to dry out, and periodically feed with a high-quality liquid fertilizer. There is no need for trimming this plant, but if you do decide to shape it or cut it back to improve its fullness, that will not harm the plant. However, you might want to wear gloves to avoid the plant's sap. Plant is drought tolerant.
