This plant appreciates full sun and regular, deep watering, especially as it establishes itself. If you are growing it as a perennial, cut back by half in autumn and prune as necessary during the growing season. Position in well-draining soil, and use a diluted liquid fertilizer at least once in summer.

It's hard to resist the tall flower spikes of Erysimum, and Erysimum 'Erysistible' decorates those spikes with a mix of dusty orange, purple, and rose-colored florets that are comprised of four small petals each. This is a great plant for container gardening, taking the role of "thriller". Its good height makes a statement, with blooms appearing from early to mid-spring. But some gardeners cannot resist using it directly in the garden, in a mid-way back border that needs good color... equally appropriate.
