Description:

With leaves shaped like triangles, this plant’s foliage is all that is needed to draw people in. Geometry lovers will take notice of the triangles, and all plant lovers will admire the painterly green on a cream backdrop that turns each triangle into a heart. Although it can grow inedible figs that are so miniscule, they look like berries, this small tree will almost never be seen in bloom by most houseplant-tenders. Instead, it is the waxy leaves with a nice thickness and lovely markings that make this a special houseplant. (Who wouldn't want a small tree of hearts?) It is also made special by its carefree nature: Where some ficus plants can be picky about their growing conditions, this variety is carefree. Maintaining a fairly small size, it makes for a perfect houseplant in all seasons. Trendy and in-demand, this hard-to-find ficus becomes a focal piece in any houseplant collection.
