Some plants are meant to be showboats, while others stand out for their ability to creep effortlessly between flagstones, containers, rocks, walls, and other crevices. Cymbalaria aequitrilobia, Mini Kenilworth Ivy, Groundcover is a member of the latter group, an excellent, extremely low-growing filler plant that spreads quickly and easily when planted. Native to Europe, it grows best in shady areas that have plenty of well-drained soil. Not one for the seasons, this plant is not very winter-hardy and is intolerant of hotter, more humid climates. Remember to focus on filler areas, as this plant does not appreciate foot traffic.
