New Season, New Catalog

In the world of gardening, as in life, every season brings a new opportunity for growth. Activities and Upgrades

In the nursery area we raised a metal structure that will be covered with black shade cloth and thereby provide some much needed shade during the hot summer days. Plants in that area include varieties such as Rhododendron, Viburnum, Ilex, Dogwoods and more.

During the fall months we had a team exchanging worn-out timbers around our various buildings.

The area in the shade garden that runs behind the bathrooms experienced a total renovation. Several trees that were diseased, leaning and overgrown were cut down and some new large Balsam Firs were installed to create a screen. In addition the landscape team installed a few flagstones approaching a quiet seating spot so that now customers can take a break on their walks through the garden and enjoy butterflies and hummingbirds visiting the plants.

Cardinal Decor

Hanging from a porch, deck or perhaps from a branch under a tree the red cardinals and white magnolia flowers in this ornament make a perfect gift. It symbolizes a messenger, often representing a visit from a loved one who has passed, bringing messages of love, hope, and remembrance. Wall Spinner

Who says being a wall flower isn’t worth embracing? These flowers spin and add some life to an otherwise empty space. They are made of metal and come in a multitude of shapes and colors to perfectly match the color or background of any wall or fence.

Perennial Plant of the Year - 2026

More compact than other big bluestem varieties, Blackhawks reaches a height of five feet and a width of two feet. Its near-black coloration and strong, upright growth habit create a dramatic presence in fall gardens. The dark green leaves emerge in spring, gradually transitioning to reddish-purple tips as summer progresses. By August, the characteristic three-parted “turkeyfoot” inflorescences appear, and by September, the entire plant takes on a deep purple hue.

Cone Flowers
