Have you ever heard of the Sweetheart Plant? Other nicknames include Hoya Heart, Wax Heart, or Lucky Heart. Hoya kerrii albomarginata is truly one-of-a-kind. It is a slow-growing, semi-succulent plant that grows in a heart shape, making it a popular Valentine’s Day gift. This variety has variegated leaves with dark green centers and creamy white borders. The plants vines can grow very long, (and very slowly) on vining stems. The heart-shaped leaves are thick and waxy.
Hoya kerrii albomarginata is non-toxic to pets and very easy to care for. It prefers bright or indirect light, and only need to be watered every two to three weeks, when soil has dried out completely. Older, more mature plants will blossom with flowers during the summer months. The flowers are small and star-shaped, and they carry a delicate scent.
NOTE: These plants are slow growing so therefore quite old. They will ship with occational bruises or marks on their leaves.
