Before You Get Started
Maybe you should invite all your fairy garden friends over, get dressed up and make a planting party? That would certainly create a lot of inspiration. Or how about asking everyone to bring a pumpkin for hollowing out to be used as a Halloween container?

Layout and Design
Fill up your container with potting soil and arrange all the fairy garden Halloween pieces. This planter is pretty simple but many more items could be added. See Halloween for more ideas. We chose to be a bit color coordinated for this one.
Begin your planter by planting the largest plants first then add the rest. Press the soil firmly down around the plants and be sure to fill it up to the brim with potting soil. Now add the pea gravel to make a nice clean look.
Always add the fairy cottages first. That is usually the largest item and will determinate the layout of the rest of the garden.
How to Take Care of Your Fairy Garden
This is sunny fairy garden container. Water regularly and fertilize weekly while the days are still hot. When it turns cooler cut back to every 2 weeks.
The Halloween Container would be an awesome hostess gift!
