Gnome in Bottle Garden Container Recipe

Creating an Enchanting Fairy Garden with Fairy Houses

Layout and Design

Add the potting soil to the bottle and make a small indentation for the pond to be inserted into. Set out the various accessories you want to add. When you find it looks right remove them again to make room for planting.

This is not a very large container so you will need to divide your plants to make them fit into the bottle. You can also break off half of the roots and potting soil to make the plants smaller. Don't worry this will not hurt the plants. Firmly press the soil down around the roots of the plants. Add gravel when you are done.

Adding Accessories

Add the micro cottage and the pond.

How to Take Care of Your Fairy Garden

The bottle planter needs light and should be grown in part to full sun. If there is no hole in your bottle watch the watering carefully. It should be moist to dry, not wet when you water it.

This can be planted up with only succulents if you don’t feel in the mood for a fairy or in this case gnome garden theme.
