Weather in Winter
At this time of the year the garden is full and alive with color, sound and fragrance. This is a great time to take a tour and see the garden at it's best. See how the plants look at their maturity and in various combinations.
There are plenty of bees, hummingbirds and butterflies, as they are never without nectar in our display gardens.
Discover the inter-connectedness of nature with naturalist and writer Emily Stone, from the Cable Natural History Museum. She will lead us on a "Wood Wide Web" walk on Saturday, July 29th at 11 a.m.
For The Sprouts (our Young Gardener's Club) there is a show-and-tell-tour of our own veggie-garden both days. It is maybe a little early to harvest, but they can see a lot of healthy veggie plants, and there are probably some ripe tomatoes.
There will be several Special Event Sales, and free refreshments will be served both days. Come and join us!
