Open House 2012

Celebrate the new season at our two-day Open House event. This is a most exciting time of year, full of anticipation and promise. The greenhouses are ablaze with color and the display gardens are illuminated with spring bulbs bursting forth. The fish in the pond have awakened and are begging for attention.

New plant introductions are making their debut. New varieties, new colors, improved hardiness and garden performance, better disease resistance, and more controlled habit are just some of the reasons you'll want to choose these plants for your own gardens.

All hanging baskets will be 10% off during Open House weekend. Welcome spring with a basket of colorful pansies or petunias, attract the hummingbirds with elegant fuchsias, or brighten a shady corner with impatiens. We can also create custom baskets for your specific needs - and hold them here until the warmer weather arrives, if need be.

Make sure to stop in to visit the fairyhood and see what those mischievous little characters have been up to all winter. It seems they have also taken over an area in the display garden you will want to check out.

A visit to the gift shop is a must. Check out all the new items for gift giving, creating or adding to a miniature garden, or providing a unique accent in your yard, patio or home.

Enjoy free coffee, cookies and popcorn while browsing. Before leaving, make sure to sign up for the door prizes. And bring the kids along - they will enjoy watching the fish in the ponds and each child gets a free plant!
