Open House 2010

Our two-day Open House starts off with an extravaganza of color from one end to the other, inside and out. This is a most exciting time of year, full of anticipation and promise.

The gardens are bursting forth with their spring bounty. Cheerful tulips and daffodils, and delicate bleeding hearts are tucked into every corner.

Inside each greenhouse is a carpet of color, from annual bedding plants to perky perennials. There is a multitude of new introductions, including a larger assortment of houseplants and miniature garden plants. Our selection of vegetables has increased substantially with a wider variety of Heirlooms to choose from.

To celebrate the new season, all hanging baskets will be 10% off during Open House weekend. Attract the hummingbirds with elegant fuchsias, brighten a shady corner with impatiens,or put a basket of colorful petunias on the patio. We can also create a custom basket for your specific needs - and hold it here until the warmer weather arrives, if need be.

Stop in our expanded gift shop to check out the many new and unique items in store for you there. Bring the whole family out to tour the gardens and greenhouses - a stop at the indoor pond is a must for the kids to see the fish and the new waterfall. All kids also receive a free plant. Enjoy free refreshments and sign up for the door prizes while visiting.
