June 'n Bloom 2010

June is another way of saying 'blooms' in the garden world and our gardens are overflowing with flowers in every color of the rainbow. Golden globeflowers grace the garden with their marvelous yellow-hued blooms. Walking around the garden visitors can enjoy the stunning beauty of peonies in the deepest red to softest pink. Brilliant orange poppies nod welcome to visitors as they make their way around the garden and the sweet scent of lilacs in various shades of pinks and purple, entice and invite you in for a closer look.

With the early planting and garden chores behind, there is time to add elements of magic and merriment to your surroundings. One method gaining lots of popularity is making Miniature or Fairy Gardens.

Join our workshop to learn about and plant your own 'little landscape'. You pay only for the container (if purchased here), plants and materials used to create a mini-magical world of your own.

If you have, or have been contemplating putting in a pond in your backyard, you will want to attend our Pond Clarification workshop. We will discuss problems with algae, weeds and bacteria, and give you the know-how and materials to get and keep your water looking crystal clear no matter what size your pond.
