Harvest of Friends Food Pantry $10,000 Challenge

Take a bite out of hunger, and join our challengers. The Chippewa Valley Bank, Winter Greenhouse, Sawyer County Farm Bureau, and Beehive Botanicals are offering an anticipated matching of 50 cents on the dollar, with a cap of $5,000, based on donations raised by Harvest of Friends $10,000 Challenge.

• 59,043 lbs. of food distributed to 933 families
• Winter Back Pack Program supplied 13,530 meals to 519 kids
• Lunchbox Warriors Program supplied 5,420 meals to 1,355 kids

Our challenge runs from October 1^st, 2011 to December 28^th, 2011. The funds raised supports food purchases, to feed families in the Winter School District thru 2012. Our food relief organization, which is a public charity, carries a 501 ©3 non for profit status.
