Asters are one of our favorite choices for providing color in the fall garden. Butterflies are equally attracted to their brilliant jewel-tone shades of bright fuchsia-pink to deep violet-blue. Now is a great time to add fresh fall color to your patio planters, with mums, heucheras, ornamental kale or cabbage, grasses, or bright pansies. We also have ready-made containers filled with frost-tolerant plants and, of course, our mammoth mums are here, bursting with hundreds of blooms. Fall is a perfect time to plant a new border or flowerbed.
