Fall may be the end of warm weather, but it is just the beginning of some of the best color nature has to offer. There are many perennials that have patiently awaited the cooler temperatures to put on their colorful display. From bright yellows to crimson reds, the leaves of many trees transform, showing their rich and vibrant hues. Maples, ash, birch and sumac are just a few that add an explosion of fiery hues to your yard in fall. Serviceberry, Dogwood, Witchhazel and Euonymus shrubs fill in the border with vibrant shades of color from brilliant red, warmest gold and deepest plum. To learn how to prune all your trees and shrubs for a long and healthy life, join our seminar on 'Pruning your way out of trouble'. We will discuss proper pruning techniques and ways to avoid common pruning problems. Our mammoth mums and other fall blooming plants are here, ready to add fresh color to your garden, patio or porch. Containers filled with frost-tolerant plants are ready to welcome fall and celebrate the season.
There will be many other Special Event Sales and free refreshments will be served both days. |
