What's Growing On...

Our first 'Contain Yourself' workshop went so well last year, we're going to do it again on Saturday, April 10^th at 10:00 a.m.

While enjoying a cup of coffee we will talk about new trends, basic principles, and show you some of the new plants for the season. You can make any type of basket or planter you choose - like an herb planter for the kitchen, a patio or deck container, a wall basket or any other basket and container style or size you prefer. We have samples and recipes available to help you. If you have your own container you can bring that, or you can purchase one here. We will have basket soil, fertilizer and gloves ready for you to use. And best of all you leave the mess here!

If you would like, we will gladly look after your creation until the weather warms up (Memorial day would be the latest pick up date!) Please sign-up ahead of time by giving us a call at 715-266-4963 or email us at mail@wintergreenhouse.com. The only charge will be the cost of the plants and material you have used.

Flip Flop Flower Pot

These are just a few of the oceans of new containers we have chosen for this year. The Flip Flop Flower Pot shown to the left is a fun new way of stacking several pots into one container. You can use any kind of pot as long as it has a hole in the bottom. The lowest one has to be at least 14" in diameter for the metal pole arrangement to work. When the season is over you can convert it to a seasonal decoration.

Pot Pads

For those who want to place containers on a deck, or indoors, we have these new Pot Pads available. Consisting of a hard plastic dome and a non-skid rubber grip pad, Pot Pads elevate the containers and allow easy movement of the pots on hard surfaces. They will never disintegrate, chip, crumble or leave unsightly marks on deck surfaces. They will also help to eliminate deck rot, bug infestation and molding under your pots. They come in 4 basic colors.
