| Coming up... |
Although we are now open every day, our annual Open House weekend is next weekend, May 2nd and 3rd. If you want to see absolutely brimming full greenhouses, now is the time. We have several sales going on this weekend. In addition to the Gerbera Daisies, all of our thousands of hanging baskets are 10% off. As usual there are door prizes every day and a grand prize that we will pull after the weekend. Maybe this is your lucky weekend?

| Chores to do now... |
Plants like sedum, coneflower, black eyed Susan's and ornamental grasses need to be cut back before they start growing again. Get a head start pulling weeds while they are small and manageable. Add mulch around the plants to make the beds look fresh and fertilize with a slow release fertilizer. Even though tall ornamental grasses can still be left up a little longer, we prefer to trim them down early so that the heat from the sun will warm up the base and start the grass growing as soon as possible.
